school back in session September 2, 2008
The preparation for the re-opening of school was long and hard as we worked in faith that come Tuesday, September 2, 2008 school would be open, even though Gustav was here. By Thursday night the light was off which for a week before, every day we had power cuts, so we continued to suffer. Monday, September 1 and still no lights, but we continued to work hard and prepare for our school’s opening.
We were praying that this school year the staff apartment would be occupied, but God have His reasons, we continue to wait on Him as He speaks to our hearts, to help in completing this building. If you can be of help in this area, please feel free to do so, every little bit helps.
My dream and prayer of more girls in attendance is slowly coming through. There are three new students coming in, two girls and a boy, these are all babies (2-4 yrs old). We also have two new teachers.
Concerning our students over the holiday as far as we know all was well with them, even though Troy spent a week at the school because the supplies and money we gave him was depleted.
Three of our teachers were promoted because of their hard work, dedication and achievements, Mrs. Dian Thompson, Miss Naeika Shaw and Miss Patrece Scott, we are proud of them.

- Second visit of Ministry of Education, so school will be fully registered.
